  When is my credit card charged?
   
 

It is charged at the time of subscription and subsequently on the first day of every month for the duration of your subscription.

  How am I charged for the first month of my subscription?
   
 

Monthly subscription: The charges are pro-rated.
For instance if you sign up for a plan that provides 10 GB of storage space ($9.95/month plan), on the 16th of April, then you would be charged only for 15 days, i.e. between 16th and the 30th of April (both days inclusive). Your total charges for April would be $5. For the subsequent period, you would be required to pay $9.95 a month. Your credit card will be charged on the first of every month.

Annual subscription: You are charged for the entire year, beginning from the date of your subscription.

  Is my money refunded in case I cancel my account?
   
 

Refunds for subscriptions are issued only if the account is canceled within 15 days of its creation date.

Yearly refunds may be issued on a pro-rated basis (excluding the current month) on a case-by-case basis if there is a technical issue with our Backup Software. If our support can resolve the issue then no refund will be issued.

If you have a free trial account and want to subscribe to the service, just login to IBackup using your free trial Username and Password. Click 'Upgrade Account' and choose a plan that suits your needs.

  When and how do the monthly charges reflect on my credit card?
   
 

Monthly charges are usually deducted in the first week of every month. However, some transactions may fail due to insufficient funds at your end/other reasons.

In such cases, the procedure is repeated after a week and if this fails, then it is repeated in the middle of the month. At this point, an email is sent out to inform the account holder that the transaction did not go through or that the correct/updated credit card information is required. The final attempt is made in the last week of the month. Subsequent to this, the account(s) of the cardholder whose transactions was unsuccessful is canceled.

Note: The deductions appear under the head 'IBACKUP.COM PRO SOFTNET 800-949-3555 CA' on your credit card statement.
